With a deformity in his paw and rejected by his own mother as soon as he was born, Flipflop had to face a great struggle early in his life.
The little dog was found abandoned on the side of a road, with his front paw deformed, fighting to survive.
He was taken in by a team specialized in rescuing abandoned animals, and from day one he showed a willingness to overcome his limitations.
Day after day, Flipflop charmed the team with his progress. He became the center of attention at the shelter, making several friendships with other dogs.
However, there was still an issue that needed to be resolved…
Due to his deformity in the paw, he might need to undergo an amputation to prevent a possible infection in the area.
However, to everyone’s joy, as Flipflop grew, it was noticed that amputating his little paw would no longer be necessary.
“He is moving very well, it doesn’t bother him at all and, since he is not a dog over 60 pounds, he doesn’t drag it and is not at risk of infection, so… He can keep the leg”

As soon as he was cleared for adoption, a family decided to welcome little Flipflop.
This family not only adopted Flipflop, but also Griff and Henry, two other dogs with special needs.
“And the good news didn’t stop there…”
